OUR MISSION
The mission of DSS is to identify and respond to unmet needs within the under-served
Brentwood Community. DSS strives to give youth the guidance and services they need to become well--rounded citizens with the confidence to excel in spite of difficult challenges. DSS actively listens to and engages parents in its activities, thus creating a sense of ownership for residents of the Brentwood community.
OUR FOUNDER'S COLUMN
I like to do many things but most of all, I like to help people. I have a lot of love for our youth. I believe that it takes a village to raise a child. I believe that every child no matter how small or how tall, should have a place from home where they feel safe with access to the resources they need to become successful in life. I welcome you to help me celebrate our next generation by empowering our youth to become the leaders we know they have the power to become.

It's that time of the year again! Gardening season and summer time fun! DSS invites you to come out and help beautify your neighborhood garden.
If you have a child/ren between the ages of 14-18 in need of a job this summer then the Brentwood Community Garden Program is a great program for your child. Please contact us for more information on how to apply for one of our Youth Worker or Lead Assistant Positions.
